Yes. With the Onlime app on iPhone or Android you get automatic cloud backup of your photos, videos and contacts. We unfortunately can't back up your entire mobile device (messages, apps, settings) so you can restore a whole phone. That is a limitation in iOS and Android themselves.

You restore files from your Onlime cloud backup via our apps or cloud.onlime.dk. Lost a file? Pull it back from your online backup at Onlime, for as long as the subscription is active. Deleted files are kept for 30 days before being permanently removed.

Yes. You can use Onlime on an unlimited number of computers, phones and tablets under the same account, backing up every one of your devices. No licensing hassle, no extra cost per device.

Onlime stores your backup in Scandinavia, specifically in Stavanger, Norway under EEA jurisdiction. iCloud Backup hosts on US servers and is subject to the CLOUD Act (US law that lets American authorities compel data access from US-incorporated companies, including data stored in Europe). Onlime is not subject to the CLOUD Act. Additionally, Onlime does not scan your files with AI and does not use your content to train models. Both services use AES-256 encryption.

Your backup is stored in Onlime's primary datacenter in Stavanger, Norway, powered by 100% Norwegian hydropower, backed by guarantees of origin. It remains in Scandinavia, protected by Norwegian law and EEA jurisdiction. Datacenter details on our security page.

No. Onlime does not train machine-learning models on your content. We don't scan your files, and don't use your backups or metadata to improve algorithms across users. Your data is yours. Harvesting it is not part of our business model.

You can cancel anytime, with no lock-in. Private customers also get a 14-day money-back guarantee on purchases and renewals. You can download all your files before the account closes, after which your data is permanently deleted per Onlime's data processing agreement.
